Cupcakes competing in the final of the National Cupcake
Championships 2011
Baking has always been a really important part of my life and in
2008, I started making cupcakes as a lovely way of relaxing and
sharing with my family and friends. In 2009, Classy Cupcakes was
established and ran alongside a full time management job at the
University of Nottingham. Interest in Classy Cupcakes and my
quirky products quickly grew and in August 2010, I left the
University to work full time (and overtime) on baking. During
this time, I studied pastry chef skills at college.
Alongside the standard range of homemade, delicious and bespoke
cakes for birthdays, weddings, graduations and corporate events,
I now supply highly personal larger cakes covered mainly in
whipped butter icing. I also produce afternoon tea packages and
a wide range of patisserie items.
I bake in my kitchen at home which has been awarded the top
possible hygiene rating by Broxtowe Council. This allows me to
keep my overheads down and deliver excellent value for money.
I have received regular, exemplary feedback from customers.
All cakes are delivered in smart cake boxes which can be
collected from Beeston or delivered locally by arrangement.
I would love to talk to you about your individual requirements
and will strive to delight you with high quality cakes made to
your specifications.
We also organise popular ‘Art and Science of Baking’ cupcake
decorating parties for children age 5-15.
